Chainly is an open-source AI-powered data flow intelligence system designed to bring transparency to what happens after a user logs into a website or application. At the core of Chainly is its ability to turn complex, invisible network interactions into a clear and auditable structure. Its data flow graph engine and session tracing system follow requests in real time, mapping relationships between endpoints and resolving them to real-world organizations using ownership data and OSINT sources. This allows Chainly to expose not just where data goes, but who ultimately controls and benefits from it. Features like Invisible Recipient Detection and the Broker Signature Library help identify undisclosed entities and recognize patterns commonly associated with large-scale data distribution and resale networks.

Chainly goes further by comparing what companies claim with what actually happens. The ToS vs Reality Comparator analyzes privacy policies and terms of service, then contrasts those claims against observed data flows to flag inconsistencies. Combined with Cross-User Pattern Aggregation, which safely identifies recurring distribution patterns across multiple sessions, the system can reveal systemic behaviors such as widespread data aggregation hubs or shared broker pipelines without exposing individual user data.

To make these insights actionable, Chainly introduces the Login Impact Score, which quantifies how far and how widely a user’s data spreads after authentication.
