ImpactCom is an open-source, decentralized peer-to-peer commodity trading platform that serves as the public marketplace for FarmLedger.
ImpactCom enables producers, cooperatives, processors, distributors, wholesalers, manufacturers, retailers, institutions, governments, and consumers to buy and sell commodities through transparent marketplace infrastructure, smart contracts, secure escrow, verified delivery workflows, and decentralized services.
ImpactCom extends FarmLedger from an operational farm and production management platform into a complete commerce ecosystem. FarmLedger users can publish available inventory, future production, harvests, services, subscriptions, and pre-orders directly to ImpactCom without maintaining duplicate inventory systems.
ImpactCom is designed around transparency, security, accountability, interoperability, open-source development, decentralized infrastructure, and direct participation between buyers and sellers.
