Incentive Mapper Agent

Overview

Incentive Mapper Agent is an intelligent behavioral analysis specification for identifying the mechanisms that drive participation across games, businesses, communities, and other ecosystems.

The system analyzes user behavior, engagement systems, progression cycles, retention strategies, and reward structures to distinguish participation from meaningful contribution. It transforms behavioral patterns into contribution opportunities and helps create reward loops aligned with ecosystem growth.

The specification is designed to be customizable for different environments while maintaining a common set of core behavioral analysis and contribution mapping capabilities.

Goals

  • Identify the mechanisms that influence participation
  • Map behavioral and engagement cycles
  • Analyze the relationship between incentives and user behavior
  • Identify repetitive or low-value engagement patterns
  • Discover high-value behaviors and contribution opportunities
  • Transform engagement loops into contribution-based reward loops
  • Support configurable incentive and reward models
  • Provide transparent behavioral analysis and decision provenance
  • Preserve human oversight over incentive-system changes
  • Support customization for games, businesses, and communities

Incentive-to-Contribution Model

The Incentive Mapper Agent distinguishes participation from contribution.

The system evaluates the relationship between:

Participation → Behavior → Contribution → Ecosystem Value

An activity that generates substantial participation is not automatically considered valuable. The system must evaluate whether the behavior contributes to defined ecosystem objectives.

The system may identify opportunities where an existing behavior can become a contribution pathway. For example, repeated gameplay may reveal expertise that can support mentoring, testing, content creation, or community participation.
