MarketLight Specification
See the Innovation Clearly.
Specification Overview
MarketLight is an open-source, global marketplace specification designed to create a transparent, trustworthy, creator-centered system for commerce and innovation. The platform combines verified product information, seller accountability, temporary creator exclusivity, open-source product transitions, competitive pricing, secure payments, global commerce, and community participation.
MarketLight is designed as a modular system. Core modules define the essential marketplace capabilities, while optional plugin modules extend the platform without requiring every deployment to implement every capability.
The software is licensed under the GNU Affero General Public License v3.0 or later (AGPL-3.0+).
