OpenKernel is a modular operating kernel for human capability and trajectory intelligence, designed to help people move from passive consumption into active creation. Instead of treating users as isolated decision-makers searching for ideas, OpenKernel models each person as an evolving system of skills, experiences, resources, and relationships that can be composed into meaningful creation pathways. From this, it generates opportunity pathways that are not random suggestions, but structured trajectories that evolve over time.

A defining feature of OpenKernel is its Trajectory Intelligence System, which evaluates whether an opportunity is a destination, a stepping stone, a network builder, or a long-term platform. It simulates future paths across multiple time horizons, showing how early projects compound into larger systems, businesses, communities, or open-source ecosystems. This shifts decision-making from short-term thinking to long-term trajectory planning, where each action is understood as part of a larger evolving path.

OpenKernel also embeds a strong anti-extraction and positive-sum intelligence layer. Every recommendation is evaluated through win-win analysis, ensuring that value is created for users, communities, and ecosystems rather than extracted from them. This specification is released under the GNU Affero General Public License v3.0 or later (AGPL-3.0+) and may be used freely with required attribution under Section 7. A Specification Branding License is available for attribution-free deployments, with fees based on usage, scope, and deployment size.
