PeopleLayer is an open-source trust and identity framework built to give individuals control over their digital reputation, credentials, and participation across multiple platforms. PeopleLayer also includes a portable reputation engine that aggregates verified contributions into a user-controlled trust profile. Reputation can be used across integrated platforms, allowing contributors to carry their credibility wherever they go. Privacy remains central to the platform through selective disclosure tools and zero-knowledge proof support, allowing users to verify status or qualifications without exposing personal identity, location, or unnecessary historical data.

The platform is designed for federation and interoperability. Communities can operate independently while still recognizing shared trust signals, credentials, and standards.
