PersonaLock is an open source, identity-first AI platform designed to preserve a person’s authentic voice, reasoning, values, evidence standards, and editorial preferences across every interaction. Unlike traditional AI assistants that prioritize generating more content, PersonaLock is built around the principle that editing is the product, not generation. It serves as an intelligent identity governance layer that evaluates, refines, and, when necessary, refuses AI-generated content that no longer aligns with the user’s established persona. Every decision is explainable, every profile change requires explicit approval, and every output is measured against the user’s own standards rather than generic language model behavior.

At the heart of PersonaLock is a native identity-aware language model supported by a comprehensive Persona Knowledge Repository. Users can archive and organize everything from books, white papers, technical specifications, research papers, documentation, and websites to blog posts, newsletters, social media content, presentations, emails, and project repositories. This growing library becomes the foundation for a structured identity profile that captures writing style, communication patterns, reasoning frameworks, editorial preferences, vocabulary, ethical principles, evidence requirements, and domain expertise. Rather than treating identity as a prompt, PersonaLock builds a transparent, versioned model that evolves only through explicit user approval, eliminating silent drift over time.

PersonaLock also includes a fully integrated Writer and Research Assistant from its initial release. The Research Assistant gathers, verifies, compares, and synthesizes information while adhering to user-defined evidence standards and citation requirements. The Writer transforms that knowledge into articles, white papers, books, documentation, technical specifications, reports, presentations, and social media content that remain faithful to the user’s established voice. Specialized governance modules, including VoiceLock, ToneLock, LogicLock, ValueLock, ClaimGuard, EvidenceGuard, and the Refusal Engine, continuously evaluate every draft for consistency in voice, logic, values, evidence, and claims. Together, these components create a modular, explainable AI platform where the user’s identity remains the authoritative source, ensuring every published work reflects the person behind it rather than the tendencies of a generic language model.

This specification is released under the GNU Affero General Public License v3.0 or later (AGPL-3.0+) and may be used freely with required attribution under Section 7. A Specification Branding License is available for attribution-free deployments, with fees based on usage, scope, and deployment size.
