Rally Copilot is a structured, rules-based course design and optimization platform built specifically for Rally Obedience. It blends federation-driven rule systems with spatial modeling and AI-assisted workflows to help users design, validate, and refine Rally courses with clarity and precision. Rather than acting as a simple drawing tool, it functions as an intelligent design environment where every station, transition, and layout decision is evaluated against real competition constraints.

At its core, Rally Copilot is built around a modular federation plugin system that supports multiple governing bodies such as AKC, WCRL, CKC, UKC, and FCI. Each federation defines its own station sets, sequencing rules, scoring logic, and class-level constraints, allowing the platform to adapt accurately to different competition standards. This makes it possible to generate legally valid courses, detect rule violations, and ensure compliance across multiple rule systems without manual verification.

The platform includes a powerful station layout engine and spatial design system that handles station placement, orientation, spacing, and flow sequencing. Users can design full Rally rings with entry and exit points, judge placement, restricted zones, and optimized movement paths. The system continuously evaluates readability, congestion, and transition clarity to improve overall course quality and ensure smooth handler and dog movement.

Rally Copilot also features an AI-assisted design layer that allows users to modify courses using natural language or structured commands. The AI can adjust difficulty, improve flow, reduce congestion, or transform entire layouts while respecting federation rules and validation constraints. Supporting this is a visualization and simulation system that provides top-down planning views, directional overlays, movement path predictions, and readability analysis to help users fully understand how a course will perform in real-world conditions.
