VitalPattern is an AI-assisted personal health intelligence system designed to bring nutrition, fitness, health measurements, goals, and personal health history together in one connected profile. Rather than treating food tracking, exercise tracking, weight management, and health information as separate activities, VitalPattern creates a unified view of the patterns connecting them. Users can interact through voice or text, record meals and exercise, track weight and goals, and maintain an evolving personal profile that becomes more useful as information accumulates.

VitalPattern provides detailed nutrition intelligence across calories, macronutrients, fiber, vitamins, minerals, and other available nutritional information. It learns each user’s individual food profile, including frequently eaten foods, favorite foods, brands, portions, meal patterns, preferences, and previously accepted recommendations. The AI can identify nutritional gaps or excesses and recommend foods or meals that fit the user’s goals, while prioritizing foods they already eat and prefer. Nutrition and exercise recommendations work together, allowing the system to continuously recalculate plans as meals, activity, weight, and goals change.

VitalPattern also incorporates health measurements and laboratory information through voice or text entry and uploaded reports. The system can extract test names, values, units, reference ranges, dates, and sources while preserving original documents and maintaining data provenance. Health-aware nutrition intelligence can use documented information as additional context when identifying nutritional considerations, while clearly distinguishing nutritional assistance from medical treatment. Health trends can be examined alongside nutrition, exercise, weight, and other measurements to help users understand patterns over time and prepare information for review with qualified health professionals.

Designed around user control and interoperability, VitalPattern supports separate profiles, universal device synchronization, connected health and fitness devices, data provenance, historical tracking, and comprehensive profile export. Users can maintain their information across desktops, phones, tablets, wearables, smart scales, health devices, local systems, private clouds, or self-hosted environments. Optional plugins can extend the system with meal planning, recipe intelligence, grocery tools, professional portals, advanced analytics, accessibility, notifications, and additional AI or device integrations. Throughout the system, VitalPattern emphasizes privacy, portability, transparency, human oversight, and clear safety boundaries while helping users bring their health patterns together.
