Jurisdiction Matters.


Purpose

AuthorityCore is a focus-oriented AI governance and reliability framework designed to improve the execution of long, complex, multi-step AI tasks.

The system addresses agentic reliability by reducing the pool of possible actions, information, sources, interpretations, and conclusions as soon as an objective is defined. Rather than allowing an AI system to operate across an unrestricted knowledge space, AuthorityCore progressively constrains the workflow to the information and actions relevant to the approved objective.

AuthorityCore is designed around human authority, controlled autonomy, evidence-based reasoning, jurisdiction awareness, source traceability, conflict resolution, continuous verification, and immutable accountability.

The default legal jurisdiction is the United States. Additional countries, states, provinces, territories, municipalities, and other jurisdictions can be implemented as modular jurisdiction packages without changing the AuthorityCore core.

Design Principles

Focus Orientation

The objective is the starting point for every workflow.

Once an objective is defined, AuthorityCore identifies the smallest practical pool of relevant:

Human Authority

Human authority remains above AI authority.

  • Introduces an unapproved source category
  • Creates a material change in workflow direction
  • Produces a high-risk conclusion

AI systems may recommend changes, but they must not silently authorize their own expansion.

Jurisdiction Awareness

Jurisdiction is a foundational constraint.

A legal or regulatory request must identify the applicable jurisdiction before substantive conclusions are produced.

The default jurisdiction is the United States.

The system executes approved workflow steps within the established scope.

Completion Verification

AuthorityCore verifies that the original objective and completion requirements have actually been satisfied.

Human Final Approval

The user approves the final result when required by workflow or risk level.

Immutable Audit Recording

The complete workflow state, decisions, evidence, approvals, and relevant source information are preserved according to audit requirements.
