Energy systems shaped by place.
EarthRoot Network is an open-source, AI-assisted infrastructure design system that treats every location on Earth as a unique design environment. Instead of applying universal templates, it generates infrastructure that adapts to local climate conditions, material availability, and economic constraints. The system is built around the idea that energy and construction systems should be shaped by place, not imposed on it.
At its core, EarthRoot Network functions as a modular design engine. It produces infrastructure as interchangeable components, including wind capture systems, hybrid renewable energy modules, structural frameworks, and environmental regulation systems such as passive cooling and airflow optimization. These modules are designed for regional adaptability and long-term lifecycle planning, with a target durability window of 10–20 years and a focus on repairability rather than full replacement.
The platform also includes a material intelligence and sourcing layer that evaluates local resources such as timber, hemp, bamboo, mycelium composites, and recycled industrial materials. It compares local production versus imported supply chains to optimize cost, carbon impact, and structural performance. This allows each generated design to align with what is physically and economically viable in its specific region.
EarthRoot Network integrates advanced environmental modeling, including wind behavior simulation, rooftop airflow optimization, and hybrid energy allocation across wind, solar, thermal, and passive systems. A lifecycle prediction engine and cost optimization system ensure that each design remains practical over time, accounting for degradation, maintenance cycles, and long-term efficiency.
Finally, the system is continuously improved through sensor-based feedback loops and regional AI models. Real-world performance data from deployed systems is used to refine future designs, creating a distributed intelligence network for infrastructure evolution. Released under the AGPL 3.0+ license, EarthRoot Network operates as an open, collaborative framework where every deployment contributes to improving the global system.
