Soluna Finance OS is an open-source financial operating system designed to coordinate insured liquidity across multiple financial institutions through abstraction, automation, and AI-driven decision systems. It redefines traditional banking interaction by replacing fragmented accounts with a unified vault-based model, where funds are represented as insured vault units distributed across FDIC/NCUA/SIPC-protected institutions. This allows users and systems to maintain full insurance compliance while optimizing for yield, liquidity, and capital efficiency.

At its core, Soluna Finance OS introduces an account abstraction layer that hides institutional complexity behind programmable financial vaults. Deposits are automatically sharded across multiple banks to maintain insurance coverage limits, while a ledger system ensures full transparency and auditability of all movements. This creates a seamless experience where capital behaves as a single coordinated system rather than isolated accounts scattered across different financial providers.

The platform also integrates a multi-agent AI intelligence layer that governs financial decision-making. Specialized agents handle risk, yield optimization, liquidity management, and compliance enforcement, while a consensus engine ensures all decisions are balanced and explainable. This system is supported by a financial intent model and scenario simulation engine, enabling adaptive allocation strategies that respond to user goals and changing economic conditions.

To ensure system integrity, Soluna Finance OS incorporates a continuous identity and fraud resistance framework. Identity is treated as a dynamic, evolving confidence score rather than a static verification event, supported by behavioral analysis, liveness checks, and identity graph modeling. Combined with cryptographic allocation verification and anomaly detection systems, the platform is designed to maintain both security and systemic resilience across all financial operations.

This specification is released under the GNU Affero General Public License v3.0 or later (AGPL-3.0+) and may be used freely with required attribution under Section 7. A Specification Branding License is available for attribution-free deployments, with fees based on usage, scope, and deployment size.
