SovereignMind is a new architecture for living software designed to transform specifications into continuously evolving, intelligent systems. It enables an AI to analyze a specification, understand its requirements, evaluate the existing codebase, and determine how new functionality can be implemented without unnecessarily disrupting or duplicating existing capabilities. Rather than functioning solely as a code-generation tool, SovereignMind maintains an ongoing understanding of the system, its architecture, capabilities, dependencies, specifications, and operational state.

SovereignMind is designed around modularity, continuous learning, self-healing, and controlled evolution. It can generate optimized code, integrate new modules, identify language and architectural conflicts, resolve compatible conflicts, generate and execute tests, detect regressions, and repair authorized failures. It can maintain a living capability registry and knowledge base while continuously identifying opportunities for optimization and expansion. New specifications, programs, dependencies, plugins, and technologies can be evaluated and incorporated when they provide meaningful improvements, allowing the system to evolve rather than becoming static after its initial implementation.

A core feature of SovereignMind is continuous source, provenance, and license intelligence. The system tracks installed specifications, programs, modules, dependencies, source materials, versions, licenses, and applicable attribution requirements. Authorized sources can be monitored for new releases, security updates, improvements, new capabilities, deprecated components, and emerging innovations. Before incorporating new code or external material, SovereignMind evaluates its source, provenance, licensing requirements, compatibility, security implications, and potential effect on the existing system. Updates and innovations can be staged, tested, evaluated, and presented for human approval before becoming part of the active system.

SovereignMind is ultimately designed to keep humans in control of an AI system capable of continuous software evolution. The AI can discover problems, propose functionality, develop implementations, evaluate upgrades, repair failures, and identify innovations, but meaningful changes remain subject to defined human governance. This specification is released under AGPL-3.0+ and is free to use with required Section 7 attribution. Attribution-free deployment is available through a Specification Branding License, with fees based on deployment scope and network size.
