Rather than limiting discovery to treatments approved by a patient’s local regulatory authority, Therovia is designed to identify approved therapies, off-label uses, investigational treatments, clinical trials, foreign-approved therapies, experimental approaches, emerging treatments, and documented treatment programs from around the world. The system then separates these possibilities by evidence, safety, regulatory status, and availability rather than presenting them as equivalent.

At its core, Therovia combines a global treatment database, disease knowledge graph, evidence engine, regulatory status engine, jurisdiction engine, treatment matching engine, clinical trial engine, and access pathway engine. It can connect a disease or specific disease subtype to treatments, biomarkers, clinical trials, treatment centers, international programs, and potential access mechanisms. For serious or life-threatening conditions, specialized functionality can identify investigational therapies, expanded-access programs, compassionate-use opportunities, clinical trials, and applicable Right to Try pathways. Right to Try information is treated as jurisdiction-specific because the U.S. pathway has specific eligibility requirements and does not obligate a manufacturer to provide an investigational drug.

A major feature of Therovia is its evidence and provenance architecture. Every treatment can be classified according to the strength and type of available evidence, from randomized clinical trials and systematic reviews down to case reports, preclinical research, traditional use, or anecdotal claims.
