AuthTrace AI is an open-source, AGPL-3.0+ governed system designed to bring verifiable origin, attribution integrity, and economic structure to human-created knowledge. It operates as a provenance-first infrastructure layer for content, ensuring that every piece of writing can be traced from its origin through all derivatives, distributions, and monetization events. The system is built around the principle that content should remain attributable, traceable, and economically transparent as it moves through digital ecosystems.

At its core, AuthTrace AI transforms raw human-authored content into structured, machine-readable knowledge assets. It analyzes input material and generates a full monetization specification, identifying licensing opportunities, syndication pathways, platform distribution strategies, and derivative content formats. Each asset is converted into a structured economic model that can be packaged, licensed, and deployed through Git-based repositories with built-in AGPL-3.0+ compliance and attribution enforcement.

Beyond monetization, AuthTrace AI introduces a comprehensive Content Provenance & Trust Layer that tracks origin, lineage, and transformation history across all content derivatives. This ensures that attribution is preserved across networks and that content authenticity can be verified over time. The system also includes an Economic Intelligence Layer that evaluates demand signals, platform compensation models, and content lifecycle value to optimize how knowledge assets are distributed and monetized.

Finally, AuthTrace AI integrates creator-focused tools such as portfolio income balancing, fair deal generation, and ethical outreach systems that prioritize institutional licensing over exploitative distribution. This specification is released under the GNU Affero General Public License v3.0 or later (AGPL-3.0+) and may be used freely with required attribution under Section 7. A Specification Branding License is available for attribution-free deployments, with fees based on usage, scope, and deployment size.
