CampGrid is an open source campground management specification designed to manage campgrounds, RV parks, seasonal communities, resorts, and mixed-ownership properties from the ground up. It connects sites, reservations, rentals, private owners, maintenance, infrastructure, utilities, community services, and financial operations in one modular system.
Core features include complete accounting, expense tracking, shared expense allocation, owner billing, rental management, maintenance, asset management, budgeting, revenue management, vendor management, utility tracking, and tax reporting. CampGrid can allocate shared costs such as trash removal, pool maintenance, landscaping, utilities, and road maintenance using configurable formulas based on usage, occupancy, ownership, or other criteria.
With optional plugins for AI optimization, smart meters, online booking, point of sale, access control, payroll, fleet management, and owner or resident portals, CampGrid provides a flexible, vendor-neutral foundation for campground management.
This specification is released under the AGPL-3.0+ license and is free to use with required attribution. Attribution-free deployments may obtain a Specification Branding License, with fees based on usage, deployment scope, and environment size.
