The Architecture Intelligence Module provides a comprehensive framework for analyzing the internal structure, behavior, performance, and efficiency of modern computing architectures. It examines how architectural components interact with one another and how those relationships affect real-world workloads. The module can analyze CPUs, GPUs, AI accelerators, chiplet-based systems, memory architectures, and other specialized computing designs while maintaining a vendor-neutral approach.
For CPU architectures, the module analyzes instruction pipelines, cache hierarchies, branch prediction, instruction sets, memory hierarchies, execution resources, and potential performance bottlenecks. GPU analysis evaluates compute units, scheduling mechanisms, memory subsystems, parallel execution characteristics, and workload behavior. AI accelerator analysis examines tensor processing capabilities, throughput, neural network execution, workload optimization, and energy efficiency. Chiplet analysis evaluates interconnects, chiplet communication, latency, packaging considerations, and the performance implications of distributed architectural components.
The module also provides cross-architecture analysis that allows different computing designs to be compared according to workload suitability, performance characteristics, resource utilization, efficiency, and bottleneck behavior. Its performance analysis capabilities can correlate architectural characteristics with observed results, while the Bottleneck Intelligence functionality can classify, prioritize, and investigate the underlying causes of performance limitations. Architecture simulation, telemetry processing, provenance tracking, evidence classification, and confidence analysis can further support predictive modeling and reproducible architectural evaluation.
The Architecture Intelligence Module is designed to support optimization and informed architectural decision-making rather than simply measuring performance. It can identify potential improvements, model optimization opportunities, connect architectural evidence to analytical conclusions, and generate structured reports and visualizations. Its modular design also allows specialized plugins for areas such as FPGA architectures, memory systems, interconnects, compilers, benchmarking, power and thermal analysis, and simulation, providing a foundation that can evolve alongside emerging computing architectures.
This specification is released under the AGPL-3.0+ and is free to use with required Section 7 attribution. Attribution-free deployment is available through a Specification Branding License, with fees based on use and deployment scope.
